About Dr. Richard Green

Dr. Richard Lee Green holds an Ed.D. from Liberty University, an M.A. in English from National University, and an M.S. in Instructional Systems Design from Florida State University, complemented by TESOL certification and credentials as a Certified Faculty Developer from LERN Systems and a Certified Apologetics Instructor through the North American Mission Board. A respected and recognized educator, Dr. Green was honored as National Instructor of the Year by the ITT Technical Institute Educational System and received the Scholarship and Practical Research Award from Herzing University.

Throughout his career, Dr. Green has held leadership positions in higher education, serving as Associate Dean of Academics at Keiser University and Executive Director at Southern Technical College, where he shaped academic programs and institutional direction. His scholarly work focuses on qualitative research methodologies, with particular emphasis on understanding introverted undergraduate students' experiences in active learning environments. His published research has been cited in multiple research studies and textbooks, presented at conferences, and is required reading in courses at several universities, contributing meaningfully to educational pedagogy and advancing the field's understanding of student learning experiences.

Today, Dr. Green serves as Assistant Professor, Subject Matter Expert for the EDCO770 course, dissertation committee member (chair, reader), and Dissertation Instructional Mentor in the Community Care and Counseling department, School of Behavioral Sciences, Liberty University. He leverages his extensive expertise through research consultation, educational resources, and providing comprehensive APA and writing support to scholars and students. Dr. Green is dedicated to helping educators and researchers navigate complex academic challenges while maintaining the highest standards of scholarly integrity and pedagogical excellence.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dr. Green is a devoted family man who has been married for more than 45 years and is proud father to two grown daughters. When not engaged in scholarly pursuits, he enjoys the companionship of his beloved dog and maintains an active lifestyle through walking and long-distance cycling, which provide both physical challenge and mental clarity. He also enjoys pencil sketching; the caricature above is one of his creations and bears his signature. These personal passions as well as a commitment to Jesus Christ reflect Dr. Green's commitment to balance, wellness, and the importance of stepping away from academic work to Rejoice, Relax, Renew, and Repeat (Philippians 4:4-9).
